Grange served 30 years in the U.S. Army. His final assignments before retiring were Commanding General Task Force Eagle conducting peace support operations in the Balkans, and Commanding General of the First Infantry Division headquartered in Germany. Grange commanded the 75th Ranger Regiment, Task Force Green (Special Operating Forces) during Desert Storm, the I-503rd Infantry Battalion in Korea, Deputy Commander of the US Army Special Operations Command, Deputy Commander and Operations Officer of a Counter Terrorist unit and Squadron Commander of the same, SF Detachment Commander for both HALO and Scuba Teams, Infantry Company Commander in the 101st, Ranger Company Commander in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Aviation Platoon Commander in the 101st, Platoon Leader in Vietnam in both the 101st and L Co Rangers and Platoon Leader in the 82d Airborne. During his tour in the Pentagon Grange was responsible for Army Readiness, Mobilization and Current Operations and served as the Director of Military Support to government agencies for natural and manmade disasters throughout the USA.

Currently, Grange is the President of Osprey Global Solutions, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veterans Organization, which provides risk assessments, security operations, geopolitical consulting, remote area medical and logistical services, training support, and includes the Osprey Research, Developmental, and Training Facility.

Grange holds a bachelor’s degree from North Georgia College and a master’s in public service from Western Kentucky University. In addition, he is the recipient of an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from both Johnson & Wales University and from Aurora University. Grange attended the Kellogg Business School and has been a Kellogg CEO Perspectives Fellow since 2003. He was ‘knighted’ into theMilitary and Hospitalier Order of St. Lazarus in 2017. Grange is in the Ranger Hall of fame, the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame and is a University System of Georgia Distinguished Alumnus.

Major General Phillip M. Churn Sr., USA (Ret.) is the Founder, CEO, and President of Syzygy International, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), a risk management and security consulting firm advising organizations navigating complex and volatile environments. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2019 after 37 years of distinguished service, including combat duty. His final senior assignments include Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Reserve Matters and Commanding General of the 200th Military Police Command, where he led the Department of Defense’s largest military police enterprise, of 13,000+ personnel across 44 states.

General Churn’s corporate career spans more than 15 years with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., where he held leadership roles of increasing leadership and responsibility. His tenure included positions as Commercial Truck Tire Center Manager; Quality Control/Technical Support Engineer; Product Manager for Retread Systems (North America); Technology, Training, and Project Manager; and Strategic National Account Representative.

Active in corporate governance and community leadership, General Churn completed the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) "Battlefield to Boardroom" program. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (Edgewater, MD), The African Society (Washington, D.C.), and Indrotek (Vancouver, Canada). He is an Army Reserve Ambassador for Washington, D.C.

General Churn holds a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

General Churn’s civilian honors include the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2019 Department of the Army Ellis Island Medal of Honor. Robin Churn is the Founder and Owner of Self-Safety Defense Solutions, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing personal safety, situational awareness, and defensive firearms instruction designed to empower individuals in high-consequence environments. A senior law enforcement professional and honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran, she brings over 16 years of sworn law enforcement service with the City of Raleigh Police Department in Raleigh, NC, alongside extensive international tactical advisory experience.

Ms. Churn’s international track record encompasses high-risk overseas operations, tactical training, and specialized advisory missions. As a Department of State Law Enforcement Professional (LEP), she deployed with DynCorp to Kabul and Jalalabad, Afghanistan, she delivered specialized operational training to female police officers in tactical self-defense, knife defense, Jujitsu, and Krav Maga. Additionally, she served as a United Nations Stabilization Mission Advisor and Trainer in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE), developing targeted programs to mitigate and prevent violence against women and children.

A highly credentialed firearms and defensive tactics instructor, Ms. Churn holds master-level national and multi-state certifications, including National Rifle Association (NRA) Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO), Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW), Pistol, and Refuse To Be A Victim® Instructor designation. She is a state-certified instructor for Maryland (Armed and Unarmed Guard with Firearms Certification, Wear and Carry, and Handgun Qualification License [HQL]), Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP), and Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP), as well as a certified Civilian TASER Advisor and Specialized Women’s Self-Defense Advisor.

Through Self-Safety Defense Solutions, LLC, Ms. Churn combines real-world tactical discipline with structured education to build self-confidence, enhanced environmental awareness, and critical decision-making skills regarding the use of non-lethal and lethal force.
